Hmmm? It says the photo was taken in Oct. 1949, but Hicks died in April 1949!

That makes it even creeper.

So is it or isn't it Julie Adams in the LIFE CFTBL pics?  I thought it had been established that it was some stand in -- but now I'm seeing the pics ID'ed as Julie -- even one for sale on her autographed photos selection on her website!?!  What's the definitive scoop here? Damn -- I've been "correcting" people based on those early "it's not Julie" reports -- and now feel like a dope.
