Maybe you were thinking, "why would a health nut be a 300 lb. man smoking a cigar?"
Tippi Hedren mentioned that most of that weight was pure man-muscle. That's from her autobiography  (I think).

Thanks for the heads up. Even though I normally wouldn't go for this scale figure, these are very well done and the card art is fantastic. Probably going to get these.

I think the scale works out at about 1:18 or 1:20.

Too bad they don't have bendable knees.  They could be displayed sitting in various vehicles.

I believe Jason Edmiston did the art; I know he did the Fiend/Crimson Ghost art.

They were cheaper than $15? I think $15 is reasonable. Figures have to be made and an artist has to do the card art. Then everything is packaged and printed. All these people have to get paid. Don't think any of them work for free. ;D

The Funko ReAction figures were priced at $10 due to Funko being a larger company and producing higher numbers of these figures. These ReAction ones are made by Super7 who probably make less of them and can't get them out everywhere. The first release Super7 had of these figures were the Alien line and those were $100 for 5 of them originally. Then the deal was struck with Funko who I believe took over these and made each figure at the $10 price point. Super7 must have realised that they couldn't refund people so added a 6th figure when they were released and as the cards were blue as apposed to the standard release of black ones people were happier as they were more limited.

I'm really not sure of all the facts with who's doing all the designing of the characters and the numbers of units involved ect. but I think this is the reason that these figures are now priced at $15 and will only be available through Super7 (with possibly a few other smaller stores). I think it's a fair price as they've taken on some interesting characters and I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for us all (it probably helps that I was bought up playing with the first released Star Wars figures so find this scale perfect for me).

Those Batman figures based on the 1966 TV show are really nice and I have several of them but I've no idea how well they sold and if they'll make series two. There's certainly enough other characters that they could make so hopefully we'll see some in the future but I love the Batmobile that they released, my young son is always looking at it.

On a side note these are made by Funko and aren't part of the ReAction line but do fit in with them perfectly. You also get the bonus of them being priced around $10 which is nice  :D
