Arrived this morning:
Memphremagog. You are in for a treat with the Criterion-Night of the Living Dead. I purchased the bluray a few weeks ago. What ya think of the transfer and disc/features?
Great finds, HH. I love that "Many Faces of Christopher Lee" doc.
Thanks, man. Yeah, I still haven't gotten around to seeing that yet. I plan to watch Scars again soon and I'll probably make it a double feature with the doc. I like Scars Of Dracula very much and it seems to be a bit underrated by many. Those Anchor Bay Hammer DVDs were the shizzle, and still are for this Hammer fan.
I just watched the entire Hammer Dracula series. "Scars..." holds up very well. I too feel that it is extremely underrated. If you listen to the commentary, even those involved seem apologetic. No need, it's a fine film.
Hey-yo!! The Old Dark House. Classic. Plus, Rawhead Rex! Finally, after the bootlegs I have purchased at Horror conventions through the years. Rawhead Rex is finally released. I found a copy a few months ago at a Video store. Get this! Customers are able to rent dvds and bluray.
Ya don't say! I thought the only movie rental now was those little Red Box vending things, and I heard they're on their way out. Nice to hear about a video store actually renting physical media again.I first saw Rawhead Rex when I was on leave from the Army in the late '80s. I rented several VHS tapes at a place called Fantasy World in my home town. I've always liked the film even though the suit left something to be desired in some shots. That twisted little perverted priest that served Rawhead was a real SOB.

We still have one video rental store in town. They rent movies/TV and games.
