Classic double-features
« on: May 16, 2014, 12:05:39 PM »
I have a large enough collection that from time to time, I like to try and experience the viewing pleasures of cinema gone by. As a result, I usually take two films that were originally paired together upon their initial release and view them as a double feature. I wonder if anyone else indulges in this habit?  If so, here is a list of double-features that are available either on DVD, Blu-ray, VHS or the internet in some form to make viewing possible.

Now that I have a list (and what a list!), I think I'll give it a try!  :)

Seems like they got their "A' and "B" movies mixed up with Black Friday/House Of Seven Gables.

A triple feature somewhere, but I doubt the 2 studios Uni/RKO and Para/MGM) worked together to make it official.

There is actually an existing trailer for the Hyde/Fu Manchu/Vampire triple bill courtesty of MGM. They owned the Paramount version of Hyde when they did their own version in 1941 so this would've been official.

Oh, I forgot about that! These studios buying each others stuff always confuses me!

Monster movies are like pizzas...there's no such thing as too much cheese.
