Interested in writing our own?

I was going down my cellar stairs when I hit a loose board and fell. to the bottom. I'm old and had my panic button around my neck but when I reached to hit it I could not move my arms. The light went out. I live alone..in the country.. and have no one that will miss me.

I copied and saved them.  Those are great.  I know I'll be thinking of some to write on my own.

Holding my dear wife's hand comforts me.  Sometimes I wish I had kept more of her.

I look up into the blazing red eyes of a frightening demon, a true creature of hell.  Why do I see that as I look into a mirror?

After his elderly parents died, Bruno s-l-o-w-l-y opened the cellar door his parents had always told him never to touch and peered through the narrow crack.

When his eyes finally adjusted to the change in light, he saw new and amazing sights that astounded him:  grass, trees, sunshine - and other people.

Was Bruno in the cellar? Can't quite tell which side of the cellar door he was on.

Yes.  That's why "grass, trees, sunshine - and other people" were new to him.  See, the idea is that he was kept in the cellar by his parents his whole life.

(Not much fun when you have to explain it, though.)

Sigh.
