This is my first Kit as an adult. I hadn't built kits since the 1970's.

The main components are:

'Aurora/ Playing Mantis' model kit – Tyrannosaurus – 1990's  (i believe, correct me if I'm wrong)
'Aurora/ Playing Mantis' model kit – Triceratops – 1990's
'Lindberg' Ankylosaurus model kit -1990's
'Tamiya' – Creatures of the Mesozoic model kit (baby T. Rex and Parasaurolophus) – 1990's
Base: 2.5 x 2.5 plywood base
'Scene-A-Rama' grass, trees, and rock sculpting kit

Early construction of the base -

I love these two kits.  A hark back to the Prehistoric Scenes.  Man I sure wish they would re release the Tarpit one day....Kids still love dinosaurs....

Great introduction back into the hobby! Got a real Willis O'Brien "Creation" vibe going on,look forward to more of your work.

...And some adults, too:) I esp. Like the T.Rex, old style, standing erect.

Can't believe that Monogram destroyed the molds to The Tarpit, sabertooth, Cromagnons, etc. I actually won a trophy for a model kit contest, a store in my town held every year, using the Tarpit and the Sabertooths. That was way back when I was a kid...

Lol, that's great! Thanks:)
There's a pic of Ray Harryhausen in an old Famous Monsters magazine, with all these dinosaurs around him. My work room is starting to resemble that :D

Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Thanks Redking :) Picked up some new techniques since building this, like using putty to fill the seams. With my last kit I started using primer and wonder how I ever painted kits without priming first.
