WCW Best of Pay Per View dvd

You can tell from my last few posts in this thread I'm going through old school wrestling phase. About every other year, I get out dvds of old school WCW and WWE matches (1983-2000 roughly) and binge.

The West Wing, Season I, 1999 - Some of the best that TV has had to offer over the years.  Tightly scripted office-based political drama that is skillfully staged to move around enough that it seems to be much more action-oriented than what is really happening.  Great scripts performed by extremely able actors and supported by great music.

Sure, it helps to share the political view of the authors, but it is just a terrific presentation, all around.  The opposing party is held up as wrong-headed, but never as evil, ungodly or any of the other crap we hear today.  The main characters aren't presented as perfect - just trying really hard.

I will watch the rest of the series' run before I am done.  I watched the whole series during the election in 2016, and I will again this year.

I use it as a palate cleanser after consuming political reality night after night.  I wish our own politics could be so cordial and consistently high-minded.

The West Wing, Seasons II  &  III, 2000  &  2001 - Just polished off these two seasons yesterday morning and was feeling pretty good about how decent American TV (and American politics) can be - even during a plot about a President who hides a serious illness and conducts an illegal covert assassination of a foreign official.

Then, I watched the "debate".

The Storm of the Century

My favorite of King's TV offerings.  SO atmospheric (so cold) and a lovely regional film with some pretty good accents.

Never fails to please.  Even though I've seen it several times, once it is on I can't not watch it to the end.

Monsters 1988-1991
Shelly Duvall's Tall Tales & Legends 1985-1987
Amazing Stories seasons 1 and 2 1985-1987
Werewolf 1987-1988
Kolchak: the night stalker 1974-1975

I have tried to watch Ray Bradbury theater episodes several times but I always fall asleep despite being on of my favorite authors.
