What a great day it was. Being a fan in the USA, I am forced to focus on things that air over there through bit torrent. The Doctor Who themed episode of Bargain Hunt was just a bore. The point of the show is to go to a boot sale (flea market) and buy things that will hopefully sell for higher prices at an auction. The "Who" connection was the two teams being fans and they didn't even buy the one Who item found there for the auction.

The Daleks in Color. The first Dalek story was given the color treatment and cut to just 75 minutes. A seven part story cut so severely that the first cliffhanger happens 11 minutes into the show? While it was nice to see it in color, it wasn't nice to see this shortened version with atrocious music added. Leaving the sound alone would have gone a long way to making this watchable more than once or twice. I am hoping that this was a rush job and that they will complete the entire thing at some point.

An Adventure In Space and Time.
The 50th Anniversary Special was brought down off the shelf, dusted off, edited to remove anything that referenced the first story, and given a fresh coat of paint by replacing the Matt Smith Cameo with an updated Doctor. Ncuti was the best addition to this terrible edit of a classic retelling of the genesis of Doctor Who.

All in all, a solid 60th Anniversary offering but poorly executed. I do have a feeling the last two issues might be related to the argument between The BBC and the son of Anthony Coburn. He has withdrawn all use of the first 4 episodes, and I am under the impression that this was colorized and was supposed to be shown yesterday. That might explain the Dalek story being so short. If they had limited time to do it, they may have edited it to a length that allowed them to show something. It is also the reason the other show was edited.  Sadly, it probably won't be resolved soon.
