These apparent pajamas were sent to me by a friend and are nicely decorative. I don't know if there was a top half.

I'm getting a hankering for more Imperial stuff.  I've got three of the four paddle balls, but I'm missing Frankenstein.  I don't have any bop bags.  I thought I had a magnetic disguise, but now that I see a picture of one, I'm sure I don't own one.

I've got a box of those cookies, by the way.

I emptied my cookie box and only just recently lacquered one of each of those cookies for preservation (though I think those things would last through nuclear war) after having them stored in a tupperware for years and years.

The pj's have been discussed here before but I couldn't find the post.  There were the Frank's you posted plus Creature, Dracula and Mummy also there were boxer shorts; A&C meet Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Dracula; all were available at Target a few years ago.

Yep, those are the X-one-X PJ pants from Target.  No top was made.  Those are nice.

Found this little 5x6 176 page paperback (probably my favorite monster item to collect at this time) at the local bookstore for a few bones.  Thought the pic of Bela was kind of neat, so snapped it up.

However, when I was thumbing through it , I found this TV Guide clipping from an unidentified monster fan.  Note the note to himself:

Nothing of monetary value, but pretty neat IMO.  (Thanks for you help with this post, Mike.)

Bogey, it's always neat to find stuff like that.  I always wonder what happened to those people that write or leave things in books.  Could be members here.

VERY nice find! I enjoy that tiny intimacy with a stranger's past, just very human.
I love the pinking shears edge to the cut out, haha! And 'Westerna' instead of 'Westenra'.

That book was written by actor, director, playwright and film historian Ivan Butler...  he can be seen on the documentaries accompanying the DVD releases of Dracula (The Road to Dracula) and Frankenstein (The Frankenstein Files: How Hollywood Made a Monster). He was a member of Hamilton Deane's theatre company, and was a part of that troupe's original Frankenstein and Dracula productions. He authored a number of books about cinema, stage, true crime and history, and stage plays.

Unless it's not the same Ivan Butler. In which case... nevermind;)

I finally got the big Wolf Man button from Elwar that I've been after for years now.  I still have one Green Duck pin and one that's rusty to upgrade, but this was a huge hole in the button collection to fill.

Very nice Bobby.   It's nice to complete a subset when we're collecting.   I'm sure that the hunt for other stuff continues though.  One can never have enough.

Coolness, Bobby.  Very nicely displayed.  Is there a picture of pin you still need so that we can keep an eye out for it?

Very Nice Bobby!  I'm still looking for the Wolfman too.  Did you get your Wolfman on a BIN on Ebay?  I would feel better if some UMA member got it ahead of me.

Yes Rob, it NEVER ends...  which is a lot of the fun!

Thanks Bogey.  I don't have a picture of it, I have only been told of it's existence.

michblk, no I missed the BIN too.  I've had saves searches running on eBay, TRYING to filter out the USPS stamp pins (just because it's the most prolific, not because I have any disdain for them) for years.  Most every day I get a search result in email, and it's almost always some modern Wolf Man buttons, a stamp button that got through, or every once in a while something slightly more interesting.  The morning that BIN went up, I saw another hit on that in my email but assumed it was going to be just as it is every other morning for 4 or 5 years...  so I put off opening and checking it and when I did I was too late.  If I had opened it first thing, I would have had it.

It was this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110368414639

The disadvantage of a broad search spectrum is that it gives you a lot of useless results.  The advantage is that it picks up a badly titled and categorized Wolf Man button you otherwise would not see.  $2 more than that BIN and relentlessness pays off, finally!
