It's a factory-made gumball machine card with toys attached-as made. Apparently the push at the time was the "Green Monster" and "Kong's Grandson". I thought the grandson thing was hilarious- I didn't know he had one, and where's Mrs. Kong? And the kids?

As these are usually seen, there are other theme-related small toys stuck in there (like the Uni-Monster heads and the sci-fi rings). With it being 1c on the card, this was most likely used on a bubble gum ball machine with a few toys scattered in with jillions of gumballs. The Famous Monsters buttons were sold the same way. Problem was with the 1c machines back then, you rarely got the toy, almost always a gumball.

Jimm--- the Fruit Brute is just under 8 inches.

Werewolfwoman---Yes, they are pricey. Right after I got this one I looked on e-bay to see if there were any and there was one and the "buy it now" price was $85. That's why I don't have a Frankenberry or Count Chocula yet. But keep looking at the swap meets . Good luck, I hope you find one.
thanks :) and good luck to you too. i hope you get a franky and a count at a great price soon.
even a woman who is pure of heart....well you know the rest..

Well he had a son.  Perhaps the Mrs. and other kids were visiting Coney Island, when Skull Island sank. :P
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

A couple weeks ago I visited Dan,an old friend of mine for the weekend and we had a great time. As kids we lived on the same road, and being that he is 4 years younger than me, when we were in school, I looked out for him and always thought of him as a little brother. Well, I had a box fuull of goodies for him, and he also had some for me. He gave me all 10 volumes of the english version of Shotaro ishinomori's classic 60s manga Cyborg 009, which is a great read, a set of postcards featuring the 1997 US Postal Service Unimonster stamp art and a box of like 10 Dr Who VHS tapes from the 90s! As luck would have it he alos lives right across the street from a cool comic shop that has not only comics, but alot of monster stuff! I picked up a cool Vampirella figure, an old Dark Shadows paperback and an original 1946 lobbycard from Tarzan and the Leopard Woman starring Johnny Weismuller and sexy Aquanetta for just $20!! We also got our tax return so I had some spending money and got some nifty goodies which I'll post pics off soon as well, but here are the goodies from my trip to my buddy dan's.

The tarzan lobbycard

DS paperback and stack of Cyborg 009 mangas

Monster postcards

Vampi! She's about 5 inches tall , the bas is about 6 or 7 inches tall.

Side views.Anyone know whomade this figure and when? there's a Harris copyright on the bottom of the base, but no year or manufacturer marking

The*ahem* rear view

Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Hepcat

Good sculpt of Vampi, although her proportions are somewhat too heroic for my taste. If anything though, the "Tarzan and the Leopard Woman" lobby card is the more interesting item.

Collecting! It's what I do!

RedKing

yeah it's definitely a more recent Vampi-she's built like Wonder Woman! I couldn't believe the Tarzan lobby card and it was just 20 bucks! I need to get a nice frame for it now.

Great haul, Mike!  Vampi's lookin' good and that Tarzan deal is supercool!  Dig the Dark Shadows book, too!

That's awesome, Howard. I don't think I've seen that box. I loved my GIJ deep sea diver as a kid.

Wow, what a coincidence. I will check out the site.  :)

Monolith

Cool stuff!
I used to have a GI Joe Deep Sea diver, too. Took it into the bath tub all the time.
I also had a Kretor and Zark, also took that into the bathtub. I don't think I've seen one since until you posted that photo. Very cool.
I also had a Scorpio and I still have some parts from it, but sadly, it's not complete. Good to see all those.
