Sometimes a blow dryer can be used to remove them.. hating them up melts the glue. Others can be removed with goo gone.. but try something like this out first before ruining a vintage piece.

But some people value having the stickers on, with the original sales price as well.. if nothing else, save them and keep them with the box they were removed from.

WOW.... Nice job removing that sticker!! You gotta have some kind of magic touch to do THAT. You should package it and sell it to fellow monster toy lunatics like us, who have dozens of  old carded toys with annoying price stickers blocking the view. Again, NICE JOB!

Thanks man! I'm in the high speed electronic manufacturing business and I stumbled upon a chemical that literally dissolves residue without removing litho. It works beautifully on windows and cellos and still quite effectively on card stock. If you would like more info just drop me a line.
As for leaving the price sticker on, if it wasn't so big I would have. I guess it depends where it's placed and the size. I do have a number of boxed Megos where I've elected to keep them on. It's kinda cool seeing a vintage toy with a $1.99 price tag on it as long as it doesn't compromise the look when on display.

Catching up with a few things I photo'd today...

Got these in a trade with Morkai a little while ago.  Morkai is a great trading partner by the way, great communication and fast.  Anyway, I had to break them up into 2 photos to get them all...

There were also some Super Monstruos cards, but I need to scan those and my scanner is acting up right now.  Morkai tossed in an "extra" that I love as much as the rest, maybe even more!  It's an envelope with great graphics and some little toys inside.

By the way, the skeleton isn't missing his foot and his hand, it was MOLDED that way!  So cool!!!

This I've actually had for a little while, but in light of the interest in mail order toys lately, I photo'd it.  It has a rack hole, but was this also sold mail order?

Saving the best for last...

First came the Frankenstein binder.  Later I found a Dracula.  And now it's complete!  The Wolf Man came my way at last.  A kid colored the eyes red and did some touches in purple, but I kinda like it...

You always post such beautiful stuff Bobby. Those little guys are way cool, what a nice variety of characters. Cyclops with the stone over his head and the Reaper with the sickle caught my eye. Very nice display box too. I'm not familiar with these little guys and I was wondering if you can expand on them a bit. Are they hard to find? What about their value, are they expensive?

I saw the update last night in passing and looking at it again this morning it really is an awesome set, it covers the gamut of Monsterdome!  Good score on the binders btw.

They are from Spain and Morkai found the box and we traded.  Someone was selling them out of Toy Shop years ago but they are pretty well dried up.  There are 24 in the set and the box has one of each character.  Morkai said he knows someone there who paid over $100 for a box, but I think that normally they aren't that much.  I traded a $75 toy for the box of monsters and the deck of Super Monstruos cards.  It's  quite possible you could find them for less, or pay more, but I'm happy with our trade.

Dang I LOVE those little plastic guys.  I have the Quasimodo but I didn't know what it was. Now I do so thanks for that! Every single one of them is cool - is there a Creature in the set? Maybe second picture far right? That looks like it might could be amphibianish.

Those Comic Spain monsters are some of my favorites!  Such a unique group of sculpts on them; I just love those things!  Anyone heard from Morkai lately?

Work, school and family have kept me away from the monster collecting lately, but I did recently pick up these awesome MPC pop-top head charms from Bob.  Here they are displayed with an original vending display card:

That's the Swamp Thing.  No Creature, sadly...

I love the Super Monstruos.  They have a ton of personality.  That's really what distinguishes the best monster toys.  They have a quality all their own.

That reminds me of something that happened at work recently. I have a Creature Jiggler sitting on one corner of my desk and some guy saw it and asked "Who's that, Gumby"? Hell in a handbasket. Sorry to go off thread for a sec.

I don't even think there's a slight resemblance...
