'twas a Happy Halloween indeed
« on: November 04, 2012, 03:35:03 PM »
Received my binders  thru the  mail on Halloween Day!!!!!
pictured here along with my meager but succinct collection are the  glorious binders indeed.
I can't thank my friend  enough who helped me to get these sweet things into my collection.  Thanks B! you know who you are!
also showing off my aurora built-ups, some are repro plastic or luminators.   I had fun  painting and  gluing just like when I was a little kid and  I use to  watch my brother Bob do it for  me because I was too young and inexperienced to do a good job.   But now I am all grown up and can handle a brush quite well.
Happy Halloween, keep up the good hunt.
Still wanting a phantom frightening lightning....
maybe for Christmas.... Santa, are you listening?

Looking Great, Hugo!  Be careful putting too much stuff in those binders, that old 60's vinyl won't take too much stress.

That's correct. I wouldn't put anything in the binders. Vinyl binders tend to split.

it's okay guys, I am the only one who handles these and they are filled with only the choicest Monster magazines with the corresponding covers.    Dracula has only Dracula or Vampire issues in it, etc.....
The binders are happy being filled with such fine examples of Monster Magazine Artistry.
I asked Frank Binder personally and he said "Binders full of Monsters.....GOOD."

See guys, Frank binder is very very happy to be  housing these delish Frank mags.
The binders are only moved  by me and they spend most time  on the dresser as you see it.
the magazines inside sit flat and the Frank  binder cover rests on top....

Thanks everyone!
I have been able  to spend a few days off work to  play with my binders and fill  them with  the right magazine  covers.
I will post the wolfman insides and the dracula insides as well.
The insides  is always  the last  to  be consumed.

Super collection Hugo! I really like your paintwork on the kits as well-particularly the fleshtones on the Phantom and Greech. I also love your unique take on the Wolfman! Those binders rock-I LOVE that paintings on them-classic 60s era art is the BEST!!
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!
