Accessorizing My Retro Monsters
« on: October 17, 2012, 03:36:30 PM »
I've been trying to find accessories to accent my Retro-style Universal Monsters, since they look a little bland just standing around on my shelves. First up is Dracula:

I've given Dracula a coffin and candleabra from the old Flattworld Dracula figure. The little raven originally came with a Vincent Price figure.

For the Mummy, I picked up a cheap DST Mummy set on eBay, removed the crummy inaction figure that came with the set, and gave the sarcophagus to my Retro Mummy. You can see in the next pic that he's a perfect fit, and yes, the lid even closes with him inside:

For Frankenstein, I bought an operating table from the lasermego website:

I still need to figure out what to get for the Wolf Man. Any suggestions?

Go find a few cool dead twisted branches and set them up like fallen trees with him peeking from behind ready to pounce. Thats what i did with my sideshow wolfman, looks pretty convincing.

A 6-7" Wolfman came out a few years back that came with a base that included a tree, tombstones and a backdrop that had a glow in the dark full moon. I have that base with my Wolfman. Nice set up you have George.
