The 1960's Wolf Man bobbler.  Unless one turns up at a yard sale, the price of this one makes it unlikely.

Not sure if this is really in the same league, but I used to have a promotional silver bullet that FOX sent out to its affiliate when it was pushing WEREWOLF the series.  The bloody thing went missing 2 or 3 years ago and I haven't found anyone selling one since (that I could think of affording, anyway).

I think I've actually got most of my holy grails!  At least as far as toys are concerned.  There are things I want that I just can't afford, like a nice boxed Marx Frankenstein, a boxed Hootin Hollow Haunted House, or carded Colorforms aliens.  I also need to seal some holes in my AHI collection by finding carded Creature and Mummy Bend 'Ems, and carded jointed-wrist Wolf Man and Mummy action figures.

I guess my most elusive holy grail toy is the vintage Brazilian Coffin Joe doll.  I don't even know what it looks like.  Is it an action figure?  A stuffed rag doll?  A blow-molded toy?  I have no idea.  But whatever it is, I want it!

I am seeking the much-discussed Imagineering Incredible Melting Man makeup kit.  I also want an Imagineering Werewolf Monster Makeup Lab and an Imagineering Ugly Face.

There is an "official" Chlorophyl Monster jiggler from Mad Doctor of Blood Island, produced to promote the film.  Next time that little critter surfaces on ebay, everyone better stand back!  I will be bidding to win!

I have become obsessed with original Topstone rubber masks.  I will buy just about any Topstone that hits ebay.  Luckily, most of them are still pretty cheap.  My holy grail Topstone is, of course, a 60s-era Shock Monster.  I especially like the purple-haired version.  After that would come the Teenage Werewolf, the original Gorilla, Caveman, Melting Man and Lagoon Monster.  If I could find those six characters, I would direct my slaves to construct a mighty temple in their honor.

I'm also getting heavily into movie posters.  Now that is a dangerous hobby to enter.  You can blow some big bucks if you're not careful.  I have a lot of "holy grails" in the poster arena that I will probably never have the opportunity to own.  They are just so expensive.   But the oddest poster on my want list would probably be fairly cheap - if it even exists.  I want a 1-sheet for CURSE OF BIGFOOT.  The movie is a rock-bottom, grade-Z piece of junk that was sold directly to television in the 1970s.  If a poster was ever made, it never hung in a theater.  But I bet some kind of poster was used in promoting it to distributors.  If I ever see one, it's coming home with me.

Now that truly defines "grail" in that you do not even know what it looks like!  :D  Excellent.

I am enjoying all these posts folks.  Each item I am trying to see what they look like on the net.  Fun stuff!

Jeez, Curse of Bigfoot!  One of my favorite golly-awful movies, a lot of fun.  It will be something if you actually locate a poster from that one.

For years I searched for a "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" one-sheet--I started looking for it way back when the film was actually obscure--and never found one for a long time.  Not too long ago I saw one on Ebay, and thankfully, the actual finding of it was enough to quench the thirst, and I no longer felt the need to own it.

The very same item for me, Andy!
Maybe I have~ but I can't ever remember seeing one of these things in person. I've seen pictures of them though so people have them in their collections. These seem very elusive as I've never seen one for sale. Other "holy grails" turn up on eBay all the time but I've not seen this candy bucket offered.
Someday, one may pop up and we'll be fighting over it, Andy- LOL!  :D

There was one on ebay just a few weeks ago, but it was in less-than-stellar condition.  I didn't bid.

Hmmmm,

Gotta say the Frankie speaker or bucket as well.  Just love the sculpt on that.  something magical about it.

I wish someone would make an affordable repro of some sort.   Heck even a 2 piece plastic model kit.
That's a great  idea for Moebius model.   I know if it was made affordable they would sell a ton.  Big Frankie is a hit and it hasn't even left China yet.

Yikes-I missed seeing that.
I haven't seen one on eBay (probably not searching at the right time) so maybe I'm meant not to have one. :-\
Thanks, Ray, gives me hope~I'll have to watch closer.

Been looking for a Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things poster myself.

I also found some of my Holy Grails: Boxed Marx Frankenstein, Joe Riley Phantom (should be coming in shortly), Distortions Saucerman (Have 1 on order straight from the Movie Mold). But, now I have new ones that I need. I usually make a top ten list with each category and hunt them when I can.

Poster Wise: I'll take any original Universal Poster. this is high $$$ so I doubt I'll ever get one. But you never know. Other than that, I always like any Sci Fi 50's poster with cool art.

Mask Wise: I found a couple on my list, see above, now the Search is for a Joe Riley Glenn Strange, Don Post Frankenstein Hands, Mole Man Hands, a Jack Nisi Bride of Frank and The Fly Mask from Carol Hicks and a claw to go with it.

Universal Monster Wise: I am starting to like all the Esco Statues that are on this board. I may also look into getting the Remco 12" set when I am able to put some extra money aside. I missed out on the Sideshow Ardeth Bay bust, I prefer the B&W bust as I have the Bela and Frank in B&W.

Godzilla Wise: I ws able to find and grab the Tin Bullmark Godzilla a while back, but I really want the Bullmark Tin Baragon and Gigan. I prefer them with box but I'll take them in any way or form. Even busted. As long as I can display them.

My list constantly changes and I always look at my collection. Sometimes I just sell things off as I move my collection into another direction.
