Any one has information or might be interested on this kind of vintage toys, please let me know. I don't know much about it, but I do know it's from the 60's because it's in the original box. This might make a collector 's happy :) I'm all ears.

a picture would help to insure its vintage, this item has been reproduced in resin with a reproduction  box.
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Sounds awesome post a pic.
There are reproductions out there, but they have some value as well

Your photo needs to be hosted on your own webspace, like Imageshack, or Photobucket.

If your Bike Buddy is heavy, it's probably a repro. If it's very light, probably original.

I moved this thread to CLASSIFIEDS, because it seemed the main purpose was to sell the item.

I'm confused , did I miss something where is the $25 shipping coming from...and how could we have an opinion if there is no description or picture?

It's a repop. It is exactly like the one I have. Just saw it on eBay. I wonder how much it will go for though?

 Looked It Up On Ebay, Noticed That The Seller Was In Puerto Rico. Hence The $25.00 Shipping Comment.

So once again somebody advertises an item they're selling under the guise of making an inquiry. While that doesn't break any rules, it certainly makes me doubt that he made an honest mistake in saying that the piece was a rare vintage one from the sixties. Moreover, how does he know the things he mentions in his Ebay listing:

QuoteTHIS IS ONE IS ONE OF THE HARDEST FIND AND CONSIDER RAREST ORIGINAL 1960's UNIVERSAL MONSTER TOY ITEM - AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE 100% AUTHENTIC - TICO "FRANKENSTEIN" BIKE BUDDY - OVERALL LENGTH ABOUT 11" - THIS TOY WAS DESIGN TO GO ON THE HANDLE BARS AND HAS ORIGINAL BASE - THE BASE CAN BE DETACHED SO HEAD (WHICH SITS ON A SPRING CAN BE DISPLAYED ON A SHELF) GREAT OVERALL CONDITION, STILL IN IT'S ORIGINAL BOX - VERY SELDOM SEEN AVAILABLE ON eBay OR ANYWHERE ELSE AND IS CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE ON OF THE TOP HARDEST 5 ITEMS TO FIND FROM THIS ERA.

But at the same time doesn't know that this piece is a repro? And of course Mike Scott already told him yesterday that a heavy piece would indicate that he has a repro.

::)
