I have read the first four Dark Tower books and they were really good - I'm a fan of Stephen King and his work - I don't know what to think of a Dark Tower film - They would honestly have to do the film the right way for it to work - Although with the sudden news that Warner Bros passed on the film, it may be launched back into Development Hell - A film of the book, not sure if it's going to be the first book or a few of the books into one film, It would be interesting - although a crappy actor, crappy differences between the film and book, and real crappy Special FX would destroy the book-to-film project - The Dark Tower books are a good read, real awesome storylines, characters, actions, etc

I honestly don't think "The Dark Tower" could ever be made into a GOOD theatrical film. Maybe a cable mini-series.
