What is this? Jointed action figures similar to Imperial 80's Monsters

(1/2) > >>

Toy Ranch:
These are shorter and are similar in construction to the small jointed WWF figures or something, but resemble the 80's Imperial figures in sculpt. For instance, the Mummy figure is like the Abbott and Costello Meets The Mummy.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?  I've seen them before, but can't remember...

darkmonkeygod:
Hey Bobby,

Are they perhaps the Same ones from this thread?

If so, they were released in, I believe, Argentina first and a bit more well made than the one pictured. The series was then knocked off twice by Chinese manufactures and sold in the States to dollar stores. If not, I'm at a loss.

Toy Ranch:
Thanks, that's it!  I knew I'd seen them before here,

darkmonkeygod:
Cool. If you find the name of any of the manufactures, I'd like to know.

poseablemonster:
Some of these do not have a manufacturer name on them.  Others are marked Sungold - these may have been released in the UK, but I am not sure on that.  I have a set of these that are unmarked.
