NEW WEBSITE FOR CULT OF PERSONALITY/POSTHUMOUS PRODUCTIONS
« on: August 09, 2012, 03:29:01 PM »
I have FINALLY (with a great deal of help from my friends over at the Clubhouse) launched a website for resin replacement parts for the classic Aurora monsters as well as several upgrades for current releases from Moebius, Round 2 and even a few from Monarch.  As well as my own products, I have several sets from Posthumous Productions and the complete "Shoulda" kit line which are fullblown, 1/8 scale kits designed to fit in with the classic Auroras we all know and love. Please check it out at www.copp.headplug.com
I am currently offering FREE shipping by Priority Mail to customers in the continental US, so now would be a great time to order!
         THANKS!!!

Hey Phibes, thanks for the kind words (and the bump!)  :) BTW, the "Revenge" build up pictured is from my friend Dale Stringer in the UK (who added the shackles and chain; they are NOT included in the set). I was hoping to have my latest replacement head, the Cagney
Quasimodo from "Man of A Thousand Faces" available by now, but my father is going through some health setbacks, and I have just not had the time to devote to getting the molds done. Here is a pic of the Jeff Yagher sculpted head in place on a Polar Lights "glow" torso:

As always, expect a "combo discount" featuring a resin head and plate bundled with a bagged PL Hunchback kit when I get this released, HOPEFULLY before Christmas!  ;)

I hope your father is feeling better, Tom. Looking forward to more goodies from you in the future. I have customized many a kit thanks to your site. Great stuff.

Still holding my breath for Ben Cross Barnabas head, though.

Believe it or not, I spoke to Ray Santoleri about the Ben Cross Barnabas at Resintopia last month and as soon as I can generate the funds, it IS on the "to do" list!  :)

Thanks for the heads up. I will put in the new URL in my favorites. The Basil Rathbone Son Of Frankenstein parts made a great kit and the Lon Chaney Jr. Son of Dracula head came in handy for my last custom project. Hope all is well with your Dad.

I've just ordered three things from the new website, and now I find the site is down...does that mean they've gone belly up...?

The post before your was from 2014, so a lot can happen in three years.  It could be that people were unhappy the way the Jeff Yagher sculpted head for the Polar Lights Hunchback kit, looked like a mewing kitten.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Stephen; I have your order from the 27th and I thought I sent you an email.  The Batman set is cast and ready to go, but the Creature and Karloff Frankenstein heads come from Posthumous Productions and I am waiting on those before I ship.  I appreciate your purchases on eBay, but on the site, there is sometimes a little wait from third party producers.  :)
New site is www.copprod.com; the old headplug site has been abandoned for over a year now. Between the site, several shows and eBay, 2016 was THE biggest year saleswise in my 15 plus year history in the aftermarket. My BIGGEST disappointment has been FOUR sculpts that have been complete for over a year that have been delayed between my mold guys and getting my feet wet in using 3-D scanning to reduce an existing sculpture in size w/o an appreciable loss in detail. SHOULD have new stuff at Chiller in April and even MORE available by the time JerseyFest rolls around in in September!
Thanks to all for your support; the cool stuff (and build-ups) from the guys on this board has served to keep me inspired! If I can get some RELIABLE digital prototyping done, I have been thinking about making things like the Gogos/Yagher Frankenstein head available for the One:12 Mezco figure or even the old "Monster Scenes" kit.  Any additional thoughts or suggestions from some of you action figure "surgeons" would be appreciated!  ;)
