I bought this one of Lon Jr. from Ron Chaney's website a few years ago--he said it was HIS favorite photo of his "Gramps"--it's a dandy.

Here's one I took myself at the 2004 Bash--nothing great about the photography, but it's a shot I like.  I gave Forry a couple of those metal circle/square tricks, and he got a kick out of showing fans how he "got things squared away" in THE TIME TRAVELERS!

The Chaney photograph is truly wonderful!  I can see why it would be a favorite, such depth of expression with his true character shining through.  Peaceful and wistful and comforting and kind of sad all at one time.  Thank you for sharing.

I have to comment on the Forry photo, too.  It reminded me of when I got to meet him at the 2005 Bash.  Great photo and fond memories!

Here's another I found in my files.  I asked Ray Harryhausen (at Wonderfest a few years back) if I could take a photo of him, and one of the W-fest directors said, "Wait a sec...he needs a prop!" and handed Ray a Kong bust from the display table.  Ray raised his other hand and instantly began quoting the witchdoctor's words from KING KONG ('33).  Ray was a hoot--a charmer!  When I walked toward him, he pointed to my beard and exclaimed, "Rasputin!  I was hoping you'd be here!"
