April Fools Day(1986)

Man, I hated this the first time I saw it. Time and subsequent viewings have changed my mind.

Man, I hated this [April Fool's Day, 1986] the first time I saw it. Time and subsequent viewings have changed my mind.

That has happened to me only a handful of times over my life.  (I always found it kinda embarrassing to admit whenever it has.)  I think it has happened much more often the other way around.

Yeah....
April Fools Day made a lot of genre' fans confused and angry when the film was released in '86. Including me.
Through time, I really enjoy it much more.

April Fools Day and Return To Horror High, although released a year apart have similar plot lines and subtext.
Both films had an ambiguous ending. I understand what the filmmakers' were trying to do. However, it was not executed well.

I guess you could call this more of a Fantasy film.

Thursday night:

SHE 1935. I watched the Ray Harryhausen  colorized version.

I like "Adventure Fantasy", like "King King", "The Thief of Bagdad", etc.

Aw crap.  Now you spoiled it for me.

I thought it was based on true events - like the  Blair Witch documentary.

The Tenant (1976)

Man this film is F'd up. The third movie in Roman Polanski's Apartment Trilogy. IMO Repulsion and Rosemary's Bay Bay are much better. But this is an interesting film.
