Which.BLOB.is.your.favorite?...There.were.two--the.original.from.'58.is.the.classic.one,.probably.the.one.you're.
talking.about--but.I.also.like.the.re-make.from.'88...I.don't.usually.like.re-makes,.but.this.one.is.not.too.terrible!

You.surely.made.a.good.choice.in.MANOS--it's.got.to.be.one.of.the.VERY.worst.of.the.classic.horror.years!

I.don't.think.I.can.narrow.it.down.to.just.two.movies...hard.to.narrow.it.down.to.Top.Ten!....but.just.for.the.
heck.of.it,.I'll.say.BRIDE.OF.FRANKENSTEIN.('35).is.in.the.top.heap.for.me--and.BEAST.WITH.A.MILLION.EYES.(1955).is.certasinly.near.the.bottom.of.classic-era.flicks!

I don't know if it's the best, but my favorite would have to be the 1934 "Black Cat" with Boris and Bela. The plot is creepy and weird even by todays standards. Worst.....anything that involves Michael Bay or Keanu Reeves.

Too many titles to mention. The most offending elements to me are boredom and over-production.
Many older favorites suffer from the former; many later films suffer from the latter.

A lot of loves, but "Manos, hands of fate" is only watchable if you have two robots and a guy at the bottom of the screen commenting.

The best horror movie I have ever seen is about the hardest question I have ever answered. I guess I would have to saw The Bride of Frankenstein for creativity, genius, imagery, story telling, music, characters, and cast.

The worst horror movie I have ever seen is Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.
Listen to them. Children of the Night. What music they make!

Some of the best...

Creature From the Black Lagoon, Gojira, Black Sunday, Halloween, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, Legend of Hell House, Curse of the Demon, Re-animator, and Lips of Blood.

The worst? Hmmm.... well you can take your pick of any of the remakes of 70s and 80s films that were made in the last ten years.

Actually, the original shoot script of the Black Cat was even more perverse. Still, I am always surprised by what they were able to get away with through the use of suggestion.

Definitely. For the time, it certainly was very shocking. I'm surprised they could do half of what they did (especially concerning devil worship)
