Hah! What, you don't already have the holodiscs? I'm waiting for the "Singularity" when I can just have is imbedded in my brain.
     LOL
On the heels of "Singularity" will be the "Cosmic Cube" format where you can alter reality by placing yourself inside the movie and endlessly change the course of the story as you assert your godlike will! ( Jeez, I was starting to feel a little like the Red Skull there.....scary.)

Interestingly enough, my order from Amazon for the Universal Legacy Series "The Wolf Man: Special Edition" has been delayed while they search for a copy. So, even the Legacy Series appear to be heading towards Out Of Print status already.

It appears the 2010 Legacy Series of "The Wolf Man: Special Edition" is already OOP. Got an email from Amazon.com today that they couldn't fulfill my order. The lowest 2nd party price for a new copy at Amazon was $115+! Checked several other sites, they all say "Discontinued," yet they still had the Legacy Collection set.

Thanks, Mike. Well, I ordered it. Let's see if they can actually scare up a copy for me!

I prefer the value of The Legacy sets. Every film in the franchise in one case for under 20.00? How can you beat that? The only thing that would have been nice is if there had been the addition of an “Abbott & Costello Meets The Monsters” set and a set combining Lon Chaney’s films. I have various collector’s sets of Hunchback and Phantom but I’m not sure which is the best set.

I could have sworn that the Mummy was an anniversary set. I only have Dracula and Frankenstein. 2 copies of each in fact. The glue in the cases don’t hold and when they were at Walmart for 7.50 I picked up another copy and the glue was the same.

I bought the Dracula and Frankenstein sets because of the 95 minute film on the Universal Monster films and each has a shorter film on Karloff and Lugosi respectively. I’m not sure what the newer Mummy and Wolfman sets offer up in addition to what we already have. I honestly thought both films were a bit meh. Ditto on Dracula. The Mummy is one of the most boring of Monsters and Drcula is just a guy in a suit. We only watch Dracula because of Bela. I think Karloff’s Frankenstein is probably the strongest Monster in the pantheon. I like the Creature too but he’s just a knock off of King Kong.

Why isn’t the audio of the Dracula epilogue on either DVD set? I highly doubt it was withheld for fear of the "Pat Robertsons"of the world. Look at the jacked up horror flicks that are made today. You really think Universal is quaking in fear over an 81 year old monster movie epilogue asserting that Vampires are real?
