These pix are great fun! I feel like I have just eaten a whole box of 50 year old Monster Candy and have gone a crazy psychedelic monster toy mind trip from which I hope to never return...!  :o  ;D

Thanks. I think that would be cool, too.

Here's a few shots of my 12'' Sideshow Frankenstein.

Wow, everything you do is amazing, but this Sideshow Frank is unbelievable! I thought you were working with a still from the movie. Great job, maybe you can release a book of your toy photo-art.

With that Creature photo I just took a photo of a blue Marx Creature in front of this big plant that I have in my front window from a low angle. I actually just held the Creature in one hand and the digital camera in the other and snapped a few pics of him with the  sunlight coming through.

How do you get such great detail though? I use a proper Nikkon digital camera and my photos always seem fuzzier than yours.

Thanks Mord! I think I would like to release a book, although I'm not quite sure how to go about that, I never released a book before. I do have lots of ideas for new photo's, though.

Well, lets see- I always considered myself more of an artist than a photographer and I'm still used to my old 35mm film camera that I've had since I was 13 years old, this digital stuff is new to me but I think the basic principals are the same. Maybe try taking the same photo multiple times but changing the settings on your camera to see if you get better results. Focus has to do with the aperture (the opening that allows light in) and shutter speed (the length
of time the shutter stays open). I don't know if these are adjustable on your camera or not. I don't think they are on mine, but sometimes I take out of focus pictures, too. I think it's because I'm not completely familiar with my digital camera's settings yet. Also make sure to hold the camera as steady as possible, maybe brace your arms on something. Other than that I'm not sure what else you could do to improve focus, maybe search online for focusing tips. Hope that helps.
