I actually went with a friend and saw this film as a double-feature with The Black Cat [Vincent Price one] at a local theater. It was awesome getting to see it on the big screen for sure
I love to listen to cool jazz on a rainy night in 1947 Los Angeles --

I saw Psycho at the spooky old Loew's Grand in Atlanta when I was like 11 years old. I think I remember trying to crawl under the seat. Come to think of it, I saw Psycho, The Birds, and Marnie in that same theater. My Dad was a watchmaker and worked just a block away on Peachtree Street. I used to catch the bus every Saturday, have lunch with Dad, and catch a movie. My routine also included perusing the three book/magazine shops in the area for the latest monster mags. Ah, the memories!

I wish they'd do stuff like this in Charlotte, NC. No, it's always 2 hours away in Asheville, or 4 hours away in Raleigh. Well, maybe Mad Monster Party could add screenings of classic horror, in addition to the Mutantville Film Festival of new horror films.
