I hope you remembered to ask Ron to autograph your copy.

Dang, if I'd known you were going to order it so quickly, I'd have told you to put "Please autograph" in the Address Line 2.

I own a copy of this on DVD. You can not bash it. It is a low budget tribute to the classic monsters. It was actually a very fun movie to watch. Of course the actors are unknowns. Who do you think your going to have the money to pay for? Robert Downey Jr? Be realistic. Really though, it was a very fun movie and it was very charming and heart pleasing as a classic monster fan. Also, watch for the Creature from the Black Lagoon hand fossil from the original Creature movie! What an amazing tribute to the classics!
Listen to them. Children of the Night. What music they make!

I don't feel calling it "a mixed bag" is bashing it. I bought the DVD, too. I've gone out my way to promote it to people. I wish John McGarr and Michael Thomas were still alive, so I could thank them for their performances and encourage them to make a sequel. I only wish there were posters and T-shirts of the DVD cover to buy!
Also, I feel bad for hijacking jerod's thread. We should move this discussion over to the Modern Monster Movies thread for 2009's "House of the Wolf Man."

Even though it may be "a mixed bag", I bought it to support the efforts that go into personal films like this.  For me "Dark Shadows" was a mixed bag, and I'll bet the budget for this film was only a fraction of what Tim Burton spent on his Horror tribute.

Uhm....I had really high hopes for this. After I bought it I kept it awhile. Then, it dawned on me how much I really liked it....so I sold it on ebay. >:D
