I don't have a lot of pictures of most of my boxes right now. Unfortunately most of them are still in storage from when we moved over a year ago. But, on the plus side, the move allowed me to fill all my voids with new stuff.

Here is a picture from last year of our kitchen corner, where most of the food items and cereal monsters end up that were not packed away. I will have to take some closer up pictures. This one was taken to show off some apes heads I was selling (if you like Apes stuff check out the Flickr account--there are plenty of photos of that there).

Cool! Do you have any of the books on collecting cereal boxes or premiums?

And why have I not seen you at the polling station here?

You'll have to let Scatter and the Unknown Primate know!

Hepcat, I find that I make a much better collector that I make a board member.

It might be because my collection is so varied and my attention shifts from one to another and I often buy what strikes me, which with a thing like eBay is always some thing new. I collect and have/do belong to boards for monsters (here) 2 Planet of the Apes boards, one for Cereal items, one for robots and space toys, one for Masters of the Universe, and one for Megos.

I do however get my fix of talking to collectors by doing and going to a fair amount of shows.

Sorry, I don't know the collecotrs you mentioned, or have never run across them one here. Maybe there should be an Apes apperciation thread--and I would certainly like to see one for Monster art.

Here are a few more pieces that Jonathan did that are Cereal Monster related (that I still need to frame, when I stop spending money on more toys).

Frankenberry  http://jawart728.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d3g791x

Count Chocula   http://jawart728.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d3g70h2

Boo Berry       http://jawart728.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d3g70ym

Karloff as Frankenberry     http://jawart728.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d3g79yy

Lugosi as Chocula  http://jawart728.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d3g7b21

And for the shameless plug I know he does have at least a few more copies of each left (which were signed and numbered) for sale on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/JAWart) and if you put "UMAmember" in the apply shop coupon code section at checkout time you could save 10% off.

i too love the nostalgia factor of these cereals. i have a few plushes and the funko bobbles and fruit brute is of course my favorite.  I would love to get the original banks but they go for  big bucks on ebay and i have yet luck out at the swap-meet or yard sales.
even a woman who is pure of heart....well you know the rest..

They're not difficult to run across. Scatter has more posts than any other member on this board and the Unknown Primate has the sixth most. Just take a look around.

Seems like Target carries all 3 monster cereals around Halloween every year (and then they go on clearance).

Same goes for Walgreen's last year that was the only store I could find Monster cereals in the stores around Halloween
☺Please check out my Scary Masks, Monster Toys and Halloween galore☺

I am one of the top cereal box collectors in the world. The Sugar Crisp glow monster heads are one of my favorite cereal toys and I have one of the 12 or so boxes known to exist. I will eventually post a picture of another great Sugar Crisp box which is the only-known sample (at this time) of a 1975 box which had the 11x14 glow monster posters. This particular box was released immediately after the aforementioned glow monster heads and has only 1 sample known to exist. Why this is so when there are a dozen of the glow head boxes remains a mystery. - Robb

Welcome, welcome! I love cereal boxes and premiums. They were another big part of my childhood. So don't just post the one box. Post your entire collection!

Speaking of shirts here is my monster cereal shirt;  Pretty sure that this came out in 2006 as a mail-away promo.
