omgosh.. I had NO CLUE this is what they cost !!!!I happen to have one! ! so now I feel special... lolI got mine at an antique store , just kinda tossed in a crate with some junk ( literally), but I couldspot that thing from across the room. I ran over there, got it out of the crate, dusted it off,. oooh'd and aww'd for about10 minutes , in utter disbelief that someone would just cast it to the side like that, instead of displaying it in their "booth" ( it was an antique mall )I cant remember exactly how much I paid, cuz its been years, but it was some ridiculously low price. like under 10 bux for sure. Like I said, they were acting as if it was just a junky toy.. but I had no idea this is the price someone would sell one at.. Geesh!! is it actually worth that much? or is that ebay seller just bein crazy?
Boxed with all the goodies, one sold a few years back for about $9k as I remember, then another one popped MIB and sold for less, like maybe $6-$7k. Realistically these days, closer to $3-$5K MIB I would think. I have owned several loose ones, and in decent shape with the correct wire, speaker and screen, probably in the $1500-$2000 range.
Missdead You are such a lucky ghoul! Thats so fun to find cool stuff that others think is junk. I ve been trying to find one of these or the bucket forever.
