Unfortunately I do not have the picture you're looking for, Mike. But would everyone like to see the original Mighty Joe Young armature?

Did I hear a yes?

OK, here it is, as presented at Monsterpalooza by the wonderful Bob Burns:

Wow-that is awesome, thank God for Bob Burns perserving these treasures.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Monolith

Always loved MJY! Grew up seeing him on TV all the time.
Okay, if you haven't seen this get ready for another nerd-gasm- Bob Burns armature brought to life for a second time. Special guest appearance by Kong.
This is really great!

just a thought did ray give bob the mjy armature just wondering how he got to own it.

Wolf Man

Always been a big fan of MJY.  No luck on the high rez picture though, sorry.  One reason I liked this film so much over others was a happy ending.  Poor Son of Kong never had a chance and he was a lovable palooka.
Even a man who is pure at heart......

Unknown Primate

Cool clip, Monolith - I still get chills when Joe makes his appearance on stage.
