Would that be the Michael's Craft & Floral stores?

How big is it?

What is is made of?

How much does it sell for?

Yes.

About 6" tall.  It is one of their mini-busts.

I'm not sure.

Packy120353  said it was $1.99.

I just saw it again today when I went to pick up one of the Lemax Spooky Town houses.  It doesn't have the nice paint job in the store.  It comes in plain gray.

HI  - yes that is all correct, about 6", 1.99 unpainted, and it's made of that light polystone type stuff but more poly than stone, pretty light. I'm tickled you call that a nice paint job, thank you! I've been looking for more of them but apparently someone else liked them because two Michael's I checked were all out.
Note to Gasport: can you get a small box in your PO box?

Paul, please check your PM inbox to tell me whether or not Micheal's PM went through. We may have a software glitch where PMs periodically end up somewhere else. I've been aware of this problem and plan on correcting the matter soon.

I went to my local Michael's and bought the only 2 Frankenstein busts they had.  I will paint one and keep the other one as issued.

I was pleased to notice that the store had 2 aisles of Halloween items on display!  Sure, it was all generic stuff.  But it was nice to see all the orange & black and hear all the plastic animations playing at the same time.  There were all sorts of fun houses, haunted houses, etc.  I wonder how long the store personnel will be able to put up with the cacophony - surely not all the way 'til Halloween.

They had a couple 12" busts on display.  One looked like a ghoul and the other was a vampire with pointed bat (Spock?) ears.  They did not have any large versions of the 6" busts.

We will have to start a Halloween Product Alert thread soon.

Good idea.  I hope this year is a bountiful harvest...

I picked up the Frankenstein and a generic vampire of similar size. Was tempted by the Vincent Price-ish one, but it wasn't a close enough likeness for me to get it. The one that I was more interested in, but still passed on for now, was a pretty cool Medusa bust. It actually was the most impressive thing that they had, imo, but I just felt like I should curb my spending. Honestly, I'm regretting it now since it was only $20. Might have to stop in again..

There are actually 2 different Medua busts.  One has a blank expression like a classical statue and the second one has her snearing with pointed teeth.  There's also a pretty cool skull bust that is $17.  Michaels often has 40% coupons, so you may be able to time things well.  When I was at our local store tonight, the Lemax stuff was 25% off.

When I picked up my 2 Frank busts, the tellers were giving everyone a 25% off coupon good for 8-17-08 from 4 PM to 8 PM only.

They offer coupons so often is worthwhile to wait for the next one - unless they only have one or two pieces of the item you want.  (Or, hide the item behind something in a different section to be retrieved later.  He he.)

Actually she is double sided!  I thought there were two too at first, but I picked one up to examine her, turned her around, and saw the other face on the back!  I think that makes her pretty awesome, a great way to cause a jolt for unsuspecting guests.   :o

Wow.  I never picked her up.  That is cool.  I may have to get her too.
