Alright guys I am working with the man/legend himself, Mr. Charles Curtis.
Today we talked about doing a reto line of his originals.
he would like for me to ask around if there might be any interest in this and also,
What do you want to see made first?
I would say give your top 3 choices to start out with and we can go from there.
Just post your choices here and I'll be back at Charles's house the coming week to see what we
Want to work on. Come on guys this may be a limited run of a couple or even more
So, let's hears those ideas and once Charles and I have an idea of what people are wanting
We can give more details.

Thanks,
-j

I guess the first question....   is the Universal stuff off the table?

And do the molds still exist, or would it be new sculpts?

Nope not off the table.
I think we will start with the deluxe Frank  and a set of matching hands.
Next, the wolf man then, either the Satyr or Satan character.

The molds are long gone and these will all be new sculpts from the man himself.

He owns all the original catalogs and we plan on scanning them and having charles sign them
And they would be free when you purchased one of the new retro line masks.

Charles is missing 1 catalog from his collection and I told him I would try and find one for him.
So, if anyone knows of or has and can scan his color catalog and send them to me and I'll give them to
Charles from you.

Thanks for the interest!
Let's get this done guys so, tell your friends because the more interest the more masks will be done!

Next week won't happen haha.
But, we may start on a mask next week if Charles feels that there's enough interest.
So, far there's only maybe 10 people............

Should we do sets of the hands that match the masks or should we just stick with just the masks?

Looking for pics of the frank from all angles and maybe some dimenions to help us get the mask
Closest to the original.

And still looking for a color catalog!

I might be interested too. And I would say focus on masks for now then after a couple of masks are done then work on hands but that's just my humble opinion.

I'm very interested to see new sculpts that echo what he's done in the past but clearly show where he is now. I don't want recasts or remakes of the existing works. Hands would be great! Are you working with a license? Frankenstein's Monster, a new take on the Creature (a little less ape, a little more flair to the gills), and a Mummy would be my top three, hands for all.

Have you gotten to the point of considering and packaging? I'd be into a higher price point display package with signature.

Very cool you're working with Mr. Curtis. Please pass along the excitement and please keep us informed.

All we have talked about is maybe scanning the old catalogs and have him sign those.
Throw me some ideas because I want this to be special for everyone!
Are you wanting some kind of stand with a plaque type deal?
