12" Alien- Mcfarlane or Medicom?

Speaking of the devils... NECA just announced that a little later this year they will be releasing new lines of Alien and Aliens figures, one of which is a 1/4 scale, 22 inch alien from the first film! I looks pretty awesome, as does their warrior alien figure from the second film (about 9 inches tall that one). Here is the article with a few pics and the details on the series...

No real release dates slated yet, but my guess is they will probably come out closer to the release of Prometheus.

I have to agree with the NECA supporters...the 21" (not 18") NECA Alien is the nicest Alien piece I've seen at any price. You can get at least 3 or 4 for the same price as that overrated Hot Toys Big Chap. My good friend has both and admits the NECA one the better one ( the right foot of his Big Chap keeps falling off, also).

I was gonna mention that. It's 18 inch SCALE meaning a six foot tall character would be 18 inches. And that's just one more reason it's so cool.
