Strange Case Of Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde(Dan Curtis) Turn Of the Screw(Dan Curtis) Picture Of Dorian Gray(Dan Curtis), Trilogy Of Terror, Curse Of the Black Widow, Killdozer, Dont Be Afraid Of the Dark(original from '73)and Gargoyles are a few more.

The Langella Dracula from '79 was a movie produced for the cinema, not televison...although the version starring Louis Jourdan was shown on PBS back in the '70's.

Some of these are late 60s.  There were also some that went into the 1980s that had the same feel about them, like Dark Night of the Scarecrow.  It's also not necessarily a complete list.  Please add Salems Lot.

Titles in bold mean that I have them in some form.  Wish I could see them all.

Still one of my favorite ref books! If that ain't a complete list (at the time it was published), it can't be far from it. I think I saw about 95% of them, at the time.

The Last Dinosaur and the Bermuda Depths were made for TV by Rankin/Bass with special effects by Tsuburaya productions of Japan (the company that does Ultraman).
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

My favorites are The Night Stalker, The Bermuda Depths and Gargoyles.  I'm so glad we finally have a legit release of The Bermuda Depths, though I wish it was a pressed DVD with extras instead of a DVD-R.

One I remember fondly is THE WORLD BEYOND (1978) about a mud golem stalking a couple on an island.  I thought it was pretty spooky as a kid.  I think it was intended as a pilot for a series, but the series never got off the ground.

I also remember SPECTRE (1977), which was produced by Gene Roddenberry.  I remember the lizard monster at the end.  As an adult, I learned the mask used was a Gorn from Star Trek.  SPECTRE was another series pilot that never took off.  Like THE WORLD BEYOND, it had an occult investigator theme, kind of like The Night Stalker or The Norliss Tapes or The Sixth Sense (folded into Night Gallery) or several other shows from the same decade.

I searched on YouTube to see how many of these are available for viewing IN ONE PART rather than broken up into 6 or 10 parts. Here are the ones I remember finding available right now.

The Cat Creature
Cold Night's Death
The Dead Don't Die
The Deadly Dream
The Devil's Daughter
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
Duel
The Haunts of the Very Rich
The Hound of the Baskervilles
The House That Wouldn't Die
Killdozer
Killer Bees
Kung Fu
The Legend of Lizzie Borden
Moon of the Wolf
Night Gallery
Night Slaves
The Night Strangler
The People
The Phantom of Hollywood
The Picture of Dorian Gray
The Questor Tapes
Satan's School for Girls
Scream of the Wolf
She Waits
The Six Milion Dollar Man
The Stranger
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
The Time Travelers
Trilogy of Terror
When Michael Calls

Important note.........if you wish to see them in ONE part instead of spread across several, search like this:

"When Michael Calls", long

This will give you only videos over 20 minutes long. And these movies are FAR from all...........right now I have approximately 200 YouTube videos sitting on my computer waiting to be watched, from 70s TV horror to 80s and 90s and beyond theatrical releases.

I watch them via my iPod or on my TV by linking my laptop to my TV via an HDMI cable. 90% of the videos look pretty good on the TV this way. Almost all are at least watchable (a lot of the 70s stuff of course has never been cleaned up and released on DVD, so you take what you can get). It's best to download them to your computer first because it eliminates the problem of video buffering if you try to stream it directly from YouTube to your TV.

How to download YouTube vids to your computer.........Go to KeepVid.com. Allow it to run on your computer when prompted (it's safe). Then go to the movie you want on YouTube and copy what's in your address bar while the movie is playing. Paste that into the KeepVid search bar, allow it to run when prompted, and it will provide several formats to download. I use MP4 because I can play it on either my iTouch or my computer/TV.

Et voila!! The entire file will be in your download folder, which you can then transfer as I do to a separate movie file on your desktop for easy access.

Free, hard to find horror (as well as every other genre) from the earliest days of film to recent releases. It's a beautiful thing. If anyone has any problems getting them on your computer, let me know.

I'm not seeing Salems Lot.
1979 IMO one of the best TV mini series ever. I just got this off Ebay at a good price on DVD. It had been going for $60+ for years and years and I guess a cache of them came out of storage. However having just listened to the 15 CD audio book the TV version is obviously a chopped up not in order variation of the book which I read 4X in the 80's/90's. Do yourself a favor and find the audiobook on CD and listen while you drive to work and back. I paid $20 for mine and well worth it.
