Here's a list of some horror/Sci-Fi genre films from the chapter "Made-For-TV Movies" from the book Fantastic Television by Gary Gerani with Paul H. Schulman:
I am going to start picking up some of them.
I can only think of a few of them that have been released on DVD. There are several/a lot of then available on bootleg discs.Ones I know of with studio released DVD. (Add others, if you know of any.)Don't Be Afraid of the DarkDracula (Dan Curtis)DuelFrankenstein-The True StoryGargoylesThe Night StalkerThe Night StranglerThe Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. HydeTrilogy of Terror
My favorites are The Night Stalker, The Bermuda Depths and Gargoyles. I'm so glad we finally have a legit release of The Bermuda Depths, though I wish it was a pressed DVD with extras instead of a DVD-R.One I remember fondly is THE WORLD BEYOND (1978) about a mud golem stalking a couple on an island. I thought it was pretty spooky as a kid. I think it was intended as a pilot for a series, but the series never got off the ground.I also remember SPECTRE (1977), which was produced by Gene Roddenberry. I remember the lizard monster at the end. As an adult, I learned the mask used was a Gorn from Star Trek. SPECTRE was another series pilot that never took off. Like THE WORLD BEYOND, it had an occult investigator theme, kind of like The Night Stalker or The Norliss Tapes or The Sixth Sense (folded into Night Gallery) or several other shows from the same decade.
