The Drunken Severed Head writ:
... I remember being given the bandages on the face! I knew what mummies looked like-- and the ones I saw never had bandages on the face! ;) Wish I still had that slip... through your fingers!
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

... Great Wrap-Up, MAX, of one of the enduring Mysteries, of The Nile.
... When you were a Mummy, I gave you the Slip... or, was it a Ballerina's Tu-Tu?
... You probably don't remember that, because you had bandages, on your face!
...  Said Slip, still, resides, in the closet, of your pyramid, in the Valley Of The Kings...
... Still, undiscovered, BTW.  ::)

TIM-SO-HEP, THE MUMMY'S UNCLE, B.G.G.

Here is the scanned box, assembled in Photoshop:

http://thegalleryofmonstertoys.com/masks/dpfrankbox.jpg

Let me know if this does not fit together correctly.  I can make adjustments and post a corrected version.  It should print out actual 1:1 size.

In the interest of making this available only to UMA members, I will delete the file on Friday.  So download it now.

"Wow! Where'd you get the Don Post Frankenstein mask box? Did ya get to scan it?"

Excellent question friend!

As a matter of fact, I just suggested to Ray (I know he wanted to scan it) that he do so and make the scans available to all here so that, like the PHOENIX CANDY BOXES , everyone here could have one.

Btw, let's alter the back  (one of you photshop gurus could help, I'm sure) so that it says reprint on it, somewhere.

Don't want future generations buying fakes.

Would someone please coordinate that with Ray.
Then we should mak eit so that it is only available to members and not lurkers.

Anyway, the display looks AMAZING! Great work to all involved.

I can't tell from the image in the UMA gallery, does the face on the puzzle look like Chaney Jr. Kharis (one closed eye, etc.)?

Eye, here is a closer look at the face of the Mummy puzzle

As long as I'm at it (showing the Mummy's face from the puzzle), here are the puzzles Ray mentioned...

first the fronts...

then, the backs...

I know these were sold individually, but I also purchased a 2-pak long ago (Frankenstein and Mummy). Notice how the "fronts" are packaged back to back~so the actual puzzle image is shown on either side in this 2-pak.

Thank you so much for posting that for me, Richard! Pretty cool puzzles, but now that I see the face up close, definitely not Chaney Jr. - think I'll stick to the Jaymars! But thanx again!

Finally, here is the Jekyll/Hyde.
This is a large puzzle! (3 feet high). On one side is the Dr Jekyll image. Mr. Hyde is printed on the other side. When I first found one of these puzzles, I thought I would frame it with clear plexi on each side and hang it in such a way to allow it to spin (so one could see both images). BUT, the reverse image is always upside down to the image you are viewing (in other words, you must turn the puzzle top to bottom to view the opposite image correctly). By luck, I found a 2nd puzzle at an antique store right here in Duluth. So now, having 2 puzzles, I just framed them both as I normally would any puzzle. The upside down reverse image 'problem' is solved.

Sorry for the diversion...now, back to WONDERFEST pics

Richard, you may not post very often, but it's always a treat when you do! Cool J&H dbl puzz, even if it is "safer" than the Jaymars.
