There's something off about this sculpt. It makes Karloff look too old, and the eyes seem set too close together. It's surprising, because Horne's sculpts are usually so spot-on.
Aren't all Horne's sculpts supposed to be caricatures rather than realistic? They all have that signature 'old man' look with the pursed lips, distorted features, etc.

I've seen other Karloff Monsters by DH that were less distorted and more straightforward. Maybe those were the anomalies?
those were cast only half way to be made wearable.When the movie came out Henry did all the sculpts that were released through Morris costumes some were made to be worn.The figure I have is ALL custom.
