Gorgeous paint jobs, just beautiful!
You've inspired me to submit a few of my own Aurora paint jobs for your perusal. Forgive any blurriness, I beg you.
First, a Frankenstein close-up (I chose a more flesh color scheme):

Then, a bit of the Bellringer:

I liked adding the detail to his neck and shoulders:

A close-up of The Count:

The Phantom is a 70's glow kit, and lost his hands and cape tie in an earthquake. I've never replaced them, it just seems like a kind of badge of courage after all these years.

A bit blurred, but you can see the green color scheme (and missing cape tie-off) :

Lastly, a bit of Gillman... this kit was built and painted when I was about 15, so a reissue.

I altered his face a bit, because the stock just looked kinda wierd to my teen eye. Ah, youth.

I've got loads more but I really don't want to bore everyone, just want to share a bit!

Bravo, Mike!

Excellent work indeed!

I KNOW how difficult it is to get in there and do the eye details as you have...

If you notice...I cheated quite a bit on my eye work...

You're kidding, right?  This group never bores of monster stuff, especially of this quality.  Keep 'em coming.

Thats some great work!  I love all the monster kits but I especially love to see build ups of the Aurora stuff.  Some of the variations are amazing and it's all good!  Keep up the great work!

I know, I just have a thing about 'hey guys look at MY stuff!' because I love seeing everyone ELSE'S so much, hah! Well, ask and ye shall receive.

Here is The Bride:

I like the sculpt on this kit, especially the neck:

Then, of course... Wolfy:

I don't know exactly how many Aurora/reissue Wolf Man kits I've done in my life, but I always had a problem with one thing... it didn't look like him! So for one of my builds, a Monogram reissue in the mid-80's, I sculpted away the overposed upper lip and made the nose a teeny bit less dominant; it isn't something I'd do again but I DO think it made me feel better at the time, haha:

How about a Forgotten Prisoner? You'll notice readily that he's missing his name plaque and a few other accessories; again, that damned Northridge earthquake just about cleaned me out:

And just for fun, here's Tim Burton's head being carried Polar Lights' Headless Horseman kit:

And meet the Mummy:

I added the littlest bit of color to the heiroglyphs, before drybrushing the sand over things:

Well, thanks for looking... and I'd love to see more pics of everyone else's Auroras!

As long as we're sharing models, I'd like to invite you to my PhotoBucket album and have a look at some of the junk I've done over the years. It's mostly junk like this --

Here's the link. I've got just over seven pages of junk for your viewing pleasure and I'm always adding something new.
