Everything in that picture of Tim belongs to me, except for the Wolf Man cereal poster and two Aurora kits - the Monster Scenes Dr. Deadly and the MOTM Creature.  I'm sorry to report that none of the items are for sale.  But there are members here who own the same stuff, so post your want list again in classifieds.  You never know.  Things change, people need money, etc.  Sometimes timing is everything.

I have all four of the Post cereal color posters. They are folded and have a little white sticker on the back to keep them folded when they were in the cereal boxes. I ate ALL the cereal it required to get them too.I remember I had to have them all, and eventually I got them. and still have them today.

I've got the Phantom, originally folded, now framed. I actually bought the cereal to get the print. It's in my "black light corner", along with the Luminator Frankenstein and Dracula. Of course, the glow highlights are pretty skimpy on it. Now I need to build-up my glow Big Frankie to further populate the cluttered corner.

I have heard a tale that the rolled posters were given away at hobby stores with a purchase of an Aurora Model Kit in the 70s; a "glow" I guess, and happening mostly out east. I never saw these in Chicagoland hobby stores offered with kits back then. I am not sure the accuracy of the claim, but I have heard it once or twice.

Anyone know for sure?

Yes! Thank God someone else remembers them also. I remember distinctly having a B+W pic pf Kharis. I taped it over my bed. Why do we never see pics of this?

I am a little surprised that only you and I recall them, John.

Perhaps they were regional?

Quakedave knows cereal real well. Maybe he remembers. Or is he the friend you were referring to?

These black & white posters that you 2 are describing sound interesting.  I would love to see pics if they turn up.  I have the color ones which must have been part of the warerhouse find, because they weren't folded.  I was lucky enough to get ben Chapman and ricou Browning to sign my Creature one.

I do have the original folded copies and some of the rolled copies, as well. I was skeptical but the rolled copies have the glow "magic" over printed on the image like the original so they are certainly the real deal.

I know some of these made their way into the Aurora square box monster model kits around this time frame as well. I'm pretty sure it was after the cereal promo ended and it was a way to liquidate the posters.
Prior to the posters, Aurora worked with Post Cereal to produce four snap-together glow monster heads as prizes. I used to keep them with my unused glow parts and leave them out every night. They are original sculpts and unique little pieces.

Interesting! Does anyone have pictures of any of these snap-together glow monster head cereal premiums?
