The purpose of this forum is primarily for members to list things for sale HERE, but we also allow members to list links to their eBay listings.  However if you are putting in a link to an eBay listing, you MUST put eBay in the title, so potential buyers will know it's not a sale on this forum, but a notice for a listing on eBay.  We will soon start removing any listings that don't comply with this requirement.

Thanks!

What if you have a listing on ebay but are willing to take offers on the board, same rule applies?

I should think the "ebay" in the subject line would still apply. Also, a "store" or BIN would seem to be alright, but an auction could create problems.

Yeah, if your post contains an eBay link, eBay needs to be in the title.  I'm not going to remove anything posted prior to this thread, but it's been a rule from the start, and it's been ignored more and more.

Very sorry I didn't include eBay in my Zacherley kit thread. I haven't ever sold anything on the site, and didn't realize. I went to edit it, but doesn't look like I can. I don't usually post eBay links, only did this time because I know there are a lot of Cool Ghoul fans on the site and thought someone might be looking for the kit. If I ever post another eBay link, it will definitely be noted in the title.

You can only edit for a short time, in case someone gets pissed and tries to remove all their messages. Personally, I think the inconvenience outweights the slim chance of that happening more than once in a blue moon. If you want your "Classifieds" posts edited/deleted, PM a mod.

No worries TCM, your thread was posted before this one and it's not in any trouble.
