I found this video of the Bally Vampire game in action where you can really check out all the artwork in detail.

Great link! Thank you!

Two things though:

1. I don't like the way the commentator pronounced Bally as in Bailey. Is his pronunciation correct?

2. The fellow playing the machine was lousy. His timing on the flippers sucked. He was hitting the flipper button too early and thus not getting close to maximum power.

Since some people on this forum may be too young to have played any pinball games from the electromechanical era, here are a videos of a couple of my favourite electromechanical pinball games:

In comparison, here's a video of a solid state electronic machine derived from the Royal Flush:

I love that Vampire pinball machine, and like most of you, I've never seen that one before. I wish I knew who was selling it. I'd send a link to Pinballz in Austin, TX and they'd probably buy it. That way I could play it when I visit my Austin friends.

Now I can't find the item for sale.  Ugggh.

'Bally' should rhyme with 'Sally', not 'Haley'... and the player stunk, yes.

It evidently featured music from the fifties including "Summertime Blues" and a hologram of the Creature within the playing field. It's now highly prized by collectors.

My daughter said they have this machine at an All-Pinball arcade here in town!  I'm gonna go check it out and see if it's the original - and play the hell out of it!

To my knowledge the Creature machine was never reissued.

In which town is this? Please tell us as well which other pinball games you find in the arcade.

I will, Hep - I'm in Lafayette, Indiana - it's a pretty historical town.  I'll take some pics when I go and post them here.

Bally released this wild Attack from Mars pinball game in 1995:

Attack From Mars Pinball Promo Video

The company followed it up in 1999 with this Revenge from Mars game which introduced the innovative Williams Pinball 2000 system that overlaid interactive video onto a pinball playfield:

Unfortunately, the writing was already on the wall for Bally and Revenge from Mars proved to be the last machine to bear the fabled Bally name.

Williams released the Monster Bash pinball machine in 1998:

The concept was so rad that even the promotional fliers were off the charts wild:

Here's a video of game play from the machine:

Thanks to a company called FarSight Studios, I've been playing classic pinball games on my iPad, iPhone, and iMac. One of my favorite pinball games, Monster Bash, is one of the games that FarSight Studious has made available. And it kicks ass too! The quality and feel of the game is about as good as one can expect from a real pinball board game transformed to a virtual pinball game.  You have to check out their website to fully understand the amount of time and money that is invested into producing each game. I'm going to share much more about this company and my reviews of their products, but check out this video first for a better explanation about what I'm talking about.

Here is a screen video capture of me playing Theatre Of Magic on my Mac.

These games are available on a multitude of platforms - not just Apple devices. Also available on Android, PS3, Xbox 360, Windows. See website for details.

I was never big into Pinball until I played the Monster Bash table on my phone. I'd LOVE to own one of those!
