     I thought it would only be fair to post the painting that started it all back in 1999. I'd been asked by a friend what sort of work I did and he wanted an example since he was considering doing a card set about horror movie henchmen, so I picked Dwight Frye as "Renfield"---had a great deal of fun doing the herringbone tweed pattern in his trousers.
    True to his nature, Renfield has opened many doors for me and led me to many new friends.

    Now you know why I have such a soft spot for the little guy.
