For the sight and bandwidth impaired...
« on: December 04, 2007, 03:27:32 PM »
Some other options have been created to allow you to see and load the forum faster.

Click Profile > Look and Layout Preferences

Under the top option, Current Theme, click CHANGE and select SMF Default.  Then scroll to the bottom and click submit.

I'm not bandwidth impaired, but was having a hard time with the small font and dark background, so I'm going to be one of the SMF Default people.   ;D

I think my setting is Core or something like that. the font is much larger, and it's black text on a white background.

Cool.. wasn't sure if there was another option to explore.

I'm pretty happy with core.. other then the shade attempt on the forum header graphics.

Those are forum defaults for SMF software.  vBulletin uses about the same shade header graphics on their forum default as well.  It would be a thinner bar with less of that if not for the logo at the top, or the "news" note at the top of the other bar.

We may offer some alternatives to this with some spiffier monster graphics that aren't dark for the easy-reader/lite load option.
