Illoman- I love it when you show your personal paintings. I start thinking about my own little 7 year old buddy, and the way he is always drawing, sculpting with Model Magic, and doodling on the computer. My grandson is the only member of our small family that really loves to draw! We keep a container that holds 40+ colored pencils and a sketch pad in the car and in the house. I always imagine that someday he will thank me for encouraging him to be artistic, and maybe..just maybe he will always love art and paint my portrait
Your grandmother sounds like someone I would totally relate to    I am also delighted by my grandson's artwork AND I'm happy most of the time. I love the fact that she had that little knick knack dog that meant something to you. People like me read these memories and see your Grandma's portrait and we can't help but smile...just letting you know

Hello UMA!

Long time no post, so here is a new one: This illustration I did for an limited German DVD release
of Irwin S. Yeaworth's »DINOSAURUS«. For my personal version I reused and tweaked the original US one sheet typography,
below you find the actual DVD cover (its aping old German rental VHS packages).

Instead of my usual fully painted approach I went for a more graphic look, inspired by
German Movie poster artists like Klaus Dill.

Thanks, Scatter. I appreciate it. Been having some terrible artistic blockage since my mom died. It makes no rational sense, but I can't put my finger on any other reason for it. Weird. I've finally started up again, but whether they turn out any good is up to you guys! LOL!!
