Selling Monster Stuff On Ebay
« on: December 03, 2010, 04:32:19 AM »
Hi, I am selling my collection of monster items on ebay, starting on the 1st of December. My collection is modest, but maybe some of you would be interested. I have a Little Big Head Silver Screen Edition Set of 15 figures, a Gemmy Frankenstein Peekaboo tree wraparound, a Gemmy Big Head Dancing Frankenstein, a Mad Lab Monster Surgery game, 7-11 monster slurpee cups, a Frankenstein soaky, 2 Playing Mantis Polar lights kits, and will be putting an Adam Chiet Frankenstein sculpture on as well. Those are the main ones for now, and I will be adding more going forward, including the little Japanese Horror World Super Deformed monsters. My seller name is zachiexander, and I have a 100% rating, so I feel I am trustworthy. Please take a look at these and anything else I have, and if interested, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I wish I didn't have to part with them.
Thanks
PS Please if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them, I am also not a pro at selling things on ebay either. PM or email me if you do

Oh boy..............that doesn't look good WW. Did you pay with PayPal, or some other way?? A complaint to PayPal should get you a refund. Also, file a complaint with eBay and let them exert pressure on this guy. Hopefully it's just the Holiday crush holding things up, but not getting any response from this guy can't be laid at Santa's feet.

I hate hearing about stuff like this happening to our group... Having it happen WITHIN the group is even worse. Hopefully it is just late in arriving, but even so, to not answer you when you try and contact him is inexcusable. Ebay/Paypal will probably make you wait a bit longer before they can take any action, but you should make the powers that be aware of your situation. Good Luck!

luckily i paid through pay-pal, and if i don't receive my item or any correspondence you can be sure i will take the complaints to both pay-pal and ebay, i just hope that is it is on it's way, but i this is just such a bummer  :(
thanks for the words of encouragement scatter and gasport, i'll keep my fingers crossed

Hopefully it's just been a matter of a couple holidays slowing shipment down a little . . . if not, I'd hold the sellers feet to the fire in every possible way.

I normally look at the post count and how long they have been a member before I trust anyone here. I've been duped before on this board. There should be some sort of minimum posts required before anyone can post on the classified section. I am seeing more of these type of restrictions on other boards. On the bright side, you have some protection purchasing the piece through ebay/paypal. It's not to say you will not get your piece, I've sold a couple of items around that time as well and between the holidays and the snowstorm I was delayed a little. Still, my communication was always prompt.

Great idea, I agree totally.  I was ripped off by a seller on these boards who had very few posts.  I've since learned my lesson.

Being new here and all, and reading this topic, I decided to check out the members list.  I was kinda stunned by all the members that have never even posted :o I mean some go back a long way. I just find it weird that you join a forum but never participate. There is so much to join in on, on the UMA. And then something like this happens, it really sucks. Good luck ;)

i just opened the case in the ebay  resolution center after seeing there was still no response to my multiple messages, it is unfortunate because i really wanted the bandai horrorworld wolfman figure :'( maybe this can still be resolved with some  civility... i will wait seven days before i contact pay-pal to open a complaint with them, if this continues with no contact or action i will take it as far as i can. this just sucks, i  had been looking for the wolfman figure for years  and thought my search was finally over....

Hate to hear this, For all the good deals we get on ebay there is always that one that leaves us sour, Good luck to you On getting your money back. Paypal should reimburse you.  I see a few things on this forum im interested in but its just too scary sending your money to someone you don't know. I think if i decide to purchase anything off this forum i will stick to the members who have a reputation.  I eventually want to start buying and selling here but i will wait till you guys know and trust me.
