Does his MARVEL collection at least have the Marvel Monsters in it?  I have a box set with Dracula, Werewolf By Night, the Frankenstein Monster, and Simon "Zombie" Garth.  I think they did a Man-Wolf figure too, but I missed out on that one.

Hey WWW, nice collection.  I remember being intimidated to post at first with all these amazing collections and world class collectors, but this group is so fun and friendly and everyone loves any kind of monster pics or collections, plus you are the only person with that exact collection.  In fact you can post one close up shot of one weird little obscure piece and it can go for weeks as people speculate, pontificate, replicate, and celebrate about it.

Keep on posting,  you are an official werewolf / wolfman authority.

wow love the custom work. i would love to see some of the collections you all have, even if it isn't wolfman related. i love to see how people display their collections, i have a kind of jumble of shelves that i purchased as the collection grew. i can't wait to get those glass door shelves then i won't have to dust twice a week, i think dust is the enemy of all monster collectors!

Dust, and cats that chew everything! The Wolf Man, Creature, Mummy, and Great Cthulhu all fell prey to those foul minions of Bast in my house.  :'(

I thought I was done with the kiddie hazards until we adopted a baby. Now he's over a year old and touching EVERYTHING!! With his sticky, gummy little sausage fingers.

thats my little monster wall

And a most awesome wall it is!

I notice a trend towards the more human-ish and / or comical werewolves; the ones that might be more likely termed as "wolfman" than the werewolves of DOG SOLDIERS, GINGER SNAPS, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, et al.  Is this a conscious preference?  Just curious.

An availability issue, I'd guess.

it's actually is a conscious decision, i prefer the friendlier/ funny wolfman, i dislike bloody werewolves and tend to go with the happy guys. but i do have the gray Dog Soldiers figure and really wanted the soda toys American werewolf in London figure two pack with meatloaf jack but the figures never actually came out. so i do sometimes make exceptions for figures i really love but other than that i guess i am a gore free girl.
i live in California and my BFF works at  a comic shop and i go to the San Diego comic con every year so accessibility really isn't a problem, through my friends shop i can pretty much order what ever i want. it's really funny you noticed that i go for the cutie stuff  non-monster people don't really see the difference so it's kinda cool when the distinction is made. I also have more wolfman figures because  when i started i just collected wolfman stuff but then expanded to werewolves too.

I don't know if you noticed my avatar, but that's an actual picture of me (a Halloween picture, but still).  And the PDF I link to is an article I wrote linking many literary and cinematic werewolves.  I consider myself something of a lycanthropologist, and it's always cool to see a fellow afficianado.  ;D
