Major Software Update on 11/05/10

Greetings! The UMA will install a major software upgrade on Friday, November 5th 2010. This forum upgrade will take place sometime in the late evening hours and will disable the forum for an estimated three hours time. This upgrade will provide new graphics, new user options, as well as a few surprises, I'm sure. Hopefully, none of these "surprises" will cause any unexpected headaches, but you never know until we jump right in and get our toes wet. 

I will update all of you again next week as the witching hour approaches.

Our software upgrade will take place this Sunday, November 7, between the hours of 4 - 9 pm EST.

Please expect the forum to be down for maintenance at this time. The forum could be disabled for up to four hours.

Upgrade is now complete. There are some things that still need refining. This will take place in the days ahead. The Gallery is also down for the time being. It will be back up soon. I'm sure there will be many tweaks that will need to take place. Thanks for your patience.

Continuing to refine and adjust settings. Looking forward to replacing the ugly profile stars that designate the different member-groups. Working on getting the Gallery back up and running.

I really dig the new logo...the whole set up looks great.

It's looking really good!  Are the old themes be available again?  I really liked the Creature, Dracula, and Wolfman.  But I dig the new one!

Thanks everyone for your input! We're still in the building process and the site will only improve with time.

In regards to the old themes - unfortunately, they became casualties of the upgrade. This was not a surprise as I knew full well that those old themes were not compatible with this version of software. I will however be adding new additional themes in the coming weeks. The rebuilding process has begun and will continue in the days ahead.
