I do not have an original Aurora Wolfman from the 60's to compare, but I am currently working on the 1999 Toys R Us Reissue, and there appears to be a molding issue. When you glue the two completed legs together, the front of the pant area below the rope belt is all depressed about a 1/32 of an inch on the right side of the leg. Which means you will have to fill this in with putty and sand to the contours of the creases in the pants.
Anyone else incur this problem, or know if the original was like that also?

i have built a 90s luminator wolfman and one of the square box kits in the early 70s. havent seen a gap so large i would feel the need to add putty.

it has taken me some effort to keep frankenstein all glued together when the top gets glued to the bottom. and to keep capes on dracula and the phantom. but i havent had that problem with other aurora or aurora styled kits.

I,ve had the same problem w/ the Creature from the Black Lagoon re
issue from Polarlights. Many gaps/spaces, in the legs and head. But, not the Wolfman.

I also had seam issues with the Creature reissue.  Maybe the Wolf Man one you got had been exposed to heat and warped slightly.  ??

I distinctly remember the original Aurora kit having major gap problems itself.
