« on: August 04, 2010, 12:27:14 AM »
You thought my last poll was hard? have fun with this one....  >:D

There were 3 or 4 other episodes(which were unproduced)and I dont have the dvd,so I dont know if they were released or not.
So that is why they arent listed in the poll.

The ones you listed are all that were filmed.  NOTE:  The one listed as U.F.O.  is titled "They Have Been, They Are, They Will Be...", but presumably this was too long to fit into the block for the poll.

My favorite single episode is probably "Horror in the Heights", but "Firefall" is the one that creeped me out as a kid when I first saw it (and even as a kid I didn't get creeped out easily).

I always thought it funny how Marvel came out with Ghost Rider (the new one on the CHopper) then the next year we see a TV episode with something similar.

Loved the original Kolchak stuff.

Love the Ripper Lore, so I went with that. Barely remember most of these Episodes, but The Vampire was good, as I seem to recall that it related back to Janos Skorzeny, of the movie.

Need to tap into these again. Are they all on Netflix?

Unreleased Episodes???? What were they called?

The "Ripper" episode is my favorite hands down, with "Zombie" a very close second.  Love the TV show, altho I consider the two movie to be even better.  Also loved Lara Parker's performance in the "Trevi Collection" episode.

Original Night Stalker is one classic show. Darren McGavin was perfect for it. I never watched the new one. Going by how long it was on the air I guess I wasn't alone. The Spanish Moss Murders is my favorite.  Pa-ma-fey was a cool monster. The Louisana Boogeyman. I always think of that episode first when the subject is brought up. It is the first one I watched when I bought the series on DVD. A close second would be Zombie. When he was in the junkyard and had to put salt in the zombies mouth and sew it up and then the zombie came to life, That was creepy stuff. The stuff classics are made of.

They were not only not aired, they were never filmed at all.  All episodes that were produced were aired.

Even some of the weaker stories with the lamer "monsters" are a treat to watch because of the cast and guests.

Steve, That scene in 'Zombie" is one of the best of the whole series when it comes to chills.  That and the scene in the church from 'Firefall' gave me goosebumps galore...and I loved every second of it.

in the Pilot of the reboot, they actually CG'd in Darren McGavin as Karl, either by a coffee Pot or a water cooler. Loved it!
