"THIS REALLY BURNS ME UP!"
« on: March 07, 2008, 08:44:09 PM »

Of course, I was speaking from the Wolfman Candle's POINT OF VIEW!

As an actor I am qualified to speak from wax candle's point of view.

Very difficult stuff.

PLEASE don't try this at home.

Anyway, back to my post. The photo above was from my homemade birthday cake.

This was my reaction to the fact that my dear wife and children thought it was okay to BURN ONE OF MY COLLECTIBLES!

So, I started thinking about monster candles.

We all know these, certainly.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THESE?

Or these?

Lets see your waxen monsterific delights.

Thats all of mine. Although, Mrs. Roebuck has threatened ,on more then one occasion, to shove a wick one of THESE!

I've seen the Drac and Frank heads before but don't know anything about them. Awhile back I missed out on an auction of a whole bunch of those in the photo after the heads, the wolfman, Frank and the scientist. There were others and they were in the original boxes. -sigh- oh well.

Dan that's not all of yours, you forgot the three really big candles of Frank, Drac and Wolfie (which I have two Franks but neither of the others and I'm so jealous of them, wait not them but you... uh whatever). One of my Franks is unused and the other is only slightly used and came from a thrift store!! Remember when you could still find good things in thrift stores?

Anyways, here are two others. The little Frankie I got about 15 years ago in some craft store and I've always really liked him, he's kinda goofy. The Wolfman is from a few years ago and is very much like the Oliver Reed Wolfman in Hammer's Curse of the Wolfman.

I also have the Wolfman as a rubber head on a really goofy stuffed doll wearing bluejeans!

Then there's this cool Frankenstein bleeding head candle from a couple of years ago.

And I also have two neat candles of Frank and Drac but I can only find the Frank right now. He's the shrinkwrapped one in the middle of the photo. He's holding a jack o lantern you can't really see.

I had a couple of those Wolfman dolls. They were in the Wal-Mart crane machines around Halloween about ten years ago I think.

ZOMBOPHOTO-

In your last photo, I noticed the Frankenstein Monster figure in the bottom left corner (bluish skin; to the left of the lime green monster). Similar size to the Remco mini monster Frank. Where is that from, if ou don't mind me asking?
Thanks!

PB

Those huge things are candles?  Wow, I thought they were statues.  Those are some serious hunks of wax.  Statues are great, but giant monster candles are even cooler.

FIRE...BAAAAD!

Somebody had to say it.

(I want to be a candlemaker. What a cushy job-- they only work on wick-ends!)
