I live in Louisville, KY, the city that was ultimately destroyed in the movie, and it's a local and personal cult favorite. I've been lucky enough to meet almost all the cast members at different conventions. James Karen stands above the rest as one of the coolest, sweetest, smartest actors I've ever met. He came to Wonderfest a couple of years ago. Bill Stout comes to Wonderfest every year, and thanks to my longstanding friendship with Donnie Waddell and Dave Conover, I get to know him a little better each year.

I saw ROTLD on opening night when I was in high school. It was a crazy, party like atmosphere at the cinema, and when it was announced that the zombies had appeared in our hometown, some guy got up and screamed at the top of his lungs, "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!," and proceeded to run up the aisle and out of the theater! It still stands as one of the best times I've ever had with an audience at a movie theater. I can't wait for the documentary.
