As fans, I think this is just what we were looking for. As Rick Baker said in the interview, he was making the look more frightening, but still paying respect to the original creation. He really got it right.

all i have to say is wow!!
i was so afraid that they would rely too heavily on C.G.I and really not do the wolfman justice i am so pleased to see that  i was wrong, I can't wait to see it!!
