Poll
Question:
What classic sream queen excites you the most?
Option 1: Helen Chandler
Option 2: Elsa Lanchester
Option 3: Julie Adams
Option 4: Evelyn Ankers
Option 5: Fay Wray
Option 6: Acquanetta
I know this is sexist. But what the heck .. we're an army here with needs.
You will need to vote before you will be able to see the results.
Gee Terry, I wonder why you put Helen Chandler at the top of the list?
I think you need professional help with your fixation---your lady wife is well struck(and I mean that in a nice way i.e. durned good looking)
"Meek"(sexy time indeed)
Aw .. your right Meek. And she does indulge my Helen fetish by dressing up as Mina. Giovanna deserves better. And I deserve Helen Chandler. ;D
Helen Chandler ?
Sure she had a beautiful face but she could not fill out a white bathing suit out like Julie did ;D
Tom
My #1 and #2 are not on that list , Carol Borland and Barbara Steele, so I picked my #3 Miss Elsa Lanchester.
Luna...MMMmmmmmmmmm

Oh, dear Lord...Barbara Steele. That's NICE! :o

I was disappointed to see that, as I know that there are members who might not want to "shag" anyone listed, but might want want to see the results. (Jane the Voodoo Queen, for example.) But fortunately I was able to see the results before voting!
I went with Evelyn Ankers. Not really sure why. From that list, there really wasn't one that excited me more than another.
I'm not sure if she's got the cinematic body of work to truly warrant inclusion, but my #1 choice would have been Carolyn Jones!
Morticia > all others
Went with Elsa...spunky, funny, naughty Irish girl. Oh the fun we'd have, the drinks we'd drink, the smokes we'd smoke!
Shes bawdy baby! Va-Va-Va-Voom!
Terry, I hope your poll is based upon what they looked like in the movies and not what they look like today. :o
I give Ms Adams and the White Bathing suit my vote. Mara Corday and Terry Moore would be on my list. I could also list several more. Maybe I just have a problem with my hormones...

My thinking too. Was she as classically gorgeous as Fay Wray or Evelyn Ankers? Nope.
Did she seem a thousand times more FUN and REAL?
Oh hell yeah.
And there are a few shots of her in Bride make up that are always, will always, be gorgeous to my eyes. Those sleepy eyes, that neck... yum.
Julie Adams is a VERY close second but Elsa... yep. Damn.
Mike C.
P.S. Which makes me more of a geek... taking part in a poll about old monster movie chicks I'd like to bag, or pointing out that the YOUR in the title of the thread really ought to be YOU'RE and it should be fixed because it's irking me?
Yeah, Elsa's my girl.
She can be strikengly beautiful
(http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b388/ProfGriffin/Lanchester20Elsa20Naughty20Marietta.jpg)
Glamorous and mysterious
(http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b388/ProfGriffin/12620.jpg)
And just plain wacky and naughty
(http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b388/ProfGriffin/3351266.jpg)
Mike. Irk no more. I corrected the typo in the topic header. There .. now your a geek strictly for taking part in a poll about old monster movie chicks I'd like to bag. ;)
Thanks for the correction.
Dear Professor. You make a great case for sweet Elsa. She does indeed seem like a woman who likes to have a good time. Both naughty and nice. Good call Griffin.
Need I remind you of the evidence?
No need to remind me Terry..I have that picture framed and hanging in my monster room...(in the closet away from 6-year old eyes) but not mine!
Ah, if only!
Let me guess...you voted for Helen?

Voted for her? How could I not? She's come for me! See for yourself - http://universalmonsterarmy.com/forum/index.php?topic=645.0
When I was (an actual) a kid they weren't called horror movies, they were called MONSTER movies. As such "The Time Machine" (1960) qualified because of those wonderful Morlocks. Then and still, I name Yvette Mimieux my first monster lady crush! "What's your name?"...."Wee-NA" Oh reconstitute me!

Ms. Steele won't return my calls! LOL.

It's OK. She doesn't return mine, either. I guess she's my favorite "Scream Queen". I like a lot of them, but she has a certain look about her that puts her slightly above the rest.
Barbara Steele is way at the top of the list. Even with holes in her face she'd be at the top of the list.

Elsa Lanchester and Vampira as well.
Fay RAY

Fay RAY
I saw him/her at a club in San Francisco in my younger days. ::)
Performed with Mylar Blacque, Hecklina, and Pollo Del Mar at The Tranny Shack . . .
Still can't hear "Copacabana" without tearing up a little . . . ;)
But I digress.
"Horror Actress You're Most Likely To Shag" Gonna have to be none of the above. Mrs Fester, AKA,
She Who Must Be Obeyed wouldn't let me have a hall pass. :'(
In my dreams? Gotta be Elsa.

Omgoodness! I meant Wray. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Assuming they weren't dead, and that I was not married and I was in some kind of time warp, In my opinion, the sexiest actresses in horror cinema-
1. Elsa Lanchester
2. Gloria Stewart
3. Nan Grey
4. Heather Langenkampf
5. Elvira
6. Judith O'Dea

Really, Judith O' Dea?
Why not?

Sorry, not hot. But....better looking than Elsa Lanchester.
I voted for Helen Chandler, too. I always thought she had an ethereal, fragile beauty. Her eyes were magnificent!
But, my ultimate fanboy crush is a space vixen: Jean Rogers, the original Dale Arden.

Barbara Steele all the way!!

Mmmmmmmm! Especially in Black Sunday ( Mask of Satan)
Having appeared in several horror movies I'd say Caroline Munro in her heyday

Dracula and Dr. Phibes agree with me

Me also for Caroline Munro.
Caroline is definitely a very close second to Barbara Steele.Hmmmmmm-maybe a threesome >:D

Oh! Um......Elsa. I love Elsa!
I can't believe Gloria Stewart didn't make the list.
Or Nan Grey for that matter.
Vampira
Lily Munster( Yvonne Decarlo as: )
Ingrid Pitt

Me too!! Make it a Trifecta Of Lust! ;D
Nan Grey was pretty hot. I hated when they panned up to that Devil mask in "Dracula's Daughter." We got to see Lugosi practically right on top of Lucy in "Dracula," but Holden was still quite a distance from Nan when they broke the shot.

Valerie Leon was looking very fit when she was in "Blood From The Mummy's Tomb". :)
May need another poll for the Hammer film honies! >:D

Yum!
Let's not forget Madeline Smith:
;)
I could only vote once but from the list it was a 3 way tie between Evelyn, Julie and Fay.
Barbara Leigh got into the best shape of her life to play Vampirella in the Hammer film that never got off the ground:

:)
Elsa makes me shake inside when I see her. Fay Wray had two of the best looking legs in history, but Elsa was hotter overall (IMO).
Nice poll- different.
Let's not forget Imogen Hassall from When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth:

haha, fun thread. This is all well and good but I prefer my Hammer hotties on the more voluptuous side,
like Dana Gillespie from around the time she did "The Lost Continent". I'd rescue her from the clutches of
just about anything.
